Aaron Turner
In 2000, with a Masters and PhD from Brunel University, Aaron Turner left a research position
at the university to pursue an internship at Pransky & Associates. Pransky & Associates
is a widely recognized world leader in a pioneering approach to human well being and
potential. Intrigued with the impact the work of Pransky and Associates had on him
personally, Aaron developed a commitment to learning how to pass on similar benefits to
others. In his 11 years at the company, he served as a consultant to individuals, couples
and a wide range of organizations. Beginning as a junior staff member, he finished his
full-time tenure at the company having served as C.E.O. for close to three years. During
those 11 years, the company expanded its practice from addressing the well-being of
individuals and couples to applying their innovative approach to solving a wide range of
business challenges. Aaron played a key role in developing new applications and courses
in leadership, cultural change, leveraging team performance, and developing a new
foundation for sales to increase customer loyalty. He was also responsible for partnering
with and mentoring senior leaders in both the corporate and military settings, both one-on-one and as a faculty member of several executive institutes. Aaron’s passion has been
in showing leaders and organizations that there is a previously unrecognized cause and
solution for many of the chronic frustrating problems organizations, and the people in
them, face.

Mara Gleason
Mara Gleason is one of those fortunate people who knew what she wanted to do with
her life from a very young age. After observing a profound and rapid transformation
in her father when she was 11 years old, she was determined to discover where he’d
been and what he’d learned that allowed for his change. It seemed both intriguing and
impossible that people could realize something, rather simply and quickly, that would
fundamentally change them. Upon learning there was a growing group of professionals
sharing basic principles that illuminate the innate well-being and potential within people,
she declared: “When I grow up, I’m going to do what those people do.” The last 17 years
have been a journey of discovering these basic principles for her self and working to
propagate an understanding of their application to individuals, families, organizations and
corporations. She truly sees that these principles have the potential to change the way we
think about the human mind, well-being, and what’s possible for human endeavor.
After obtaining a Master’s degree from Columbia University in 2006, Mara moved to
La Conner, Washington to work for Pransky & Associates, an organization that was
one of the initial pioneers in these basic principles. In her four years there, she rose
quickly from intern to junior to senior consultant, and moved to New York to act as the
Director of a New York-based branch of the company. In working with a wide range of
executives, organizational leaders and social entrepreneurs she was struck by how many
times she heard the question, “Why doesn’t everyone know about this?” In January of
2010, she and her colleague, Aaron Turner, decided to found One Thought, a company dedicated to developing more professionals in this field and working with innovative
leaders to allow for more and more people throughout the world to know about this and
it’s potential to transform individuals and organizations.
